There is hardly anyone today who hasn’t seen at least one of the Twilight films, let alone heard of the new generation vampire saga with Robert Pattison starring as its main protagonist along with Kristen Stewart. And as idols for younger generation they spawn a rather large following, and with the following he who is followed needs to be careful as to which standards of life are portrayed.

Those, who have followed the life and career of Pattison have known him to enjoy a good smoke, but until Stewart’s career and personal life intersected with Pattison’s, she had not been known to enjoy this harmful habit. These two are now the boasting photos of them smoking a cigarette together or a cigar. Of course, everybody has their freedoms and their rights, but when one’s in the position of authority and any actor and actress with this much influence is an authority figure for those, who watch their movies, but more importantly watch their every move.

It could be reasoned that they are not responsible for what others do and what choices others make. But no matter how plausible this reasoning sound, everybody and their brother knows that it is flawed on account of thousands and millions of lives being changed at the backdrop of the Twilight dynamic duo.

It’s one thing that cigarettes are known to cause health issues for those, who are subjected to this habit. And this part of the equation is totally up to the two. Their deteriorating health is completely for them to decide on. What is bothersome is that health of many youngsters is jeopardized on account of the idols the have become. And as idols, the lives of many are on the line, and that is as serious as it can get.
